ITTO Executive Director Sheam Satkuru visited The Most Honourable Mr Suga Yoshihide, Member of Japan’s House of Representatives and Member of the South Korea–Japan Parliamentarians’ Association, on 18 July 2023 at Mr Suga’s diet office in Tokyo.

During the meeting, Ms Satkuru expressed her deepest gratitude to the Government of Japan and the City of Yokohama for their continued commitment and support for the ITTO, spanning more than 35 years. Ms Satkuru added that she is looking forward to enhanced collaboration on mutually beneficial endeavours with several sectors in Japan, including the Green Expo, which will be held in Yokohama in 2027.
Amongst other matters, Mr Suga said it is the responsibility of the government of Japan as a whole to continue supporting ITTO’s work.
