ITTO engaged actively in Global Festa Japan 2024

ITTO actively participated in Global Festa Japan 2024, held on 28–29 September at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza. As one of Japan’s largest annual events dedicated to international cooperation, social contribution, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the festival brought together public- and private-sector organizations to inspire action and collaboration.

This year’s theme, “70 Years of International Cooperation – Toward the Future Together!”, drew an impressive 45,000 visitors from Japan and beyond. ITTO’s booth was a hub of activity, attracting numerous visitors eager to learn about the sustainable management of tropical forests and their vital role in achieving the SDGs. ITTO staff engaged in meaningful discussions, raising awareness of the Organization’s mission and its efforts to combat pressing global challenges, including deforestation, biodiversity loss, and climate change.
