ITTO and City of Yokohama engage youth in a tropical forest adventure

On 6 August 2025, ITTO partnered with the City of Yokohama to co-facilitate a vibrant and interactive outreach workshop as part of the Kodomo Adventure program. Designed for 3rd to 6th grade elementary school students, the workshop welcomed around 40 eager young participants split into two sessions.
Themed “You, Me and the Tropical Forests!”, the 1.5-hour sessions introduced students to the rich diversity and importance of tropical forests through fun, engaging, and hands-on activities.
This collaborative event with the City of Yokohama strengthened ITTO’s outreach efforts in Japan and reaffirmed our commitment to environmental education and youth engagement.
