The International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) has officially confirmed its participation in GREENxEXPO 2027 which will be held in the City of Yokohama from 19 March 2027 to 26 September 2027. ITTO is the first international organization to express interest in joining the event.

On 3 July 2025, Mr Kazuhiko Koshikawa, Commissioner of the International Horticultural EXPO 2027 and Ambassador of the GREEN x EXPO 2027, and his team visited the ITTO Secretariat to congratulate the Organization and discuss the details of its planned participation.
