Fourteen students from the Department of International Studies at Tsukuba University visited ITTO offices on 6 December 2023 to observe how international organizations such as ITTO operate.
During the visit, students listened to presentations from the divisions of Forest Management, Trade and Industry, and Operations on the Organization’s major areas of work and current issues in sustainable tropical forest management. The presentations were followed by an animated exchange on global issues such as climate change, deforestation, forest degradation and sustainability.
