As the “International Symposium on the Promotion of Deforestation-Free Global Supply Chains to Contribute to Halting Deforestation” is underway follow our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter postings on the developments of this important event co-organized by ITTO; the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), which aims at increasing the understanding of deforestation-free supply chains, disseminating good practices by the private sector in Japan and elsewhere towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and the Aichi Biodiversity Targets, and scaling up zero-deforestation initiatives.
