Members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests
, comprised of fifteen international organizations working on forestry, issued a joint statement highlighting the need to halt the destruction of the world's forests at the 16th Session of the UN Forum on Forests, held virtually on 27 April 2021. The joint statement outlined the impacts of deforestation as well as the opportunities and actions required to reverse it.
