Enriching biodiversity in tropical production landscapes through sustainable forest management

The side-event will showcase forest biodiversity targets within the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, adopted at the 15th meeting of the Conference of Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). It will review lessons learned from the implementation of the ITTO–CBD Collaborative Initiative for Tropical Forest Biodiversity and share best practices to integrate biodiversity conservation into sustainable forest management, based on field ITTO projects on productive forest landscapes implemented in the Amazon and Indonesia.
