ITTO-JICA joint side event at TICAD V “Efforts to advance sustainable management of African Forests”
Date & venue: 1 June 2013, Yokohama, Japan
ITTO and JICA, together with African countries and stakeholders, will present in this event various initiatives taken to pursue sustainable forest management in Africa. A new JICA-led collaborative “TREES” initiative (Total Approach for Natural Resource Management, REDD+, Ecosystem Conservation and Sustainable Development)” will also be presented as a means to further advance sustainable forest management in Africa.
The event will be convened on Saturday 1 June 2013 from 17:30-19:00 hrs. in room B, Annex Hall, Pacifico Yokohama, 1-1-1 Minato Mirai, Yokohama, Japan
