Yokohama, 10 August 2026: For 40 years, the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) has worked to promote the sustainable management of tropical forests and the legal and sustainable trade of tropical timber. As ITTO celebrates this milestone, the Organization has launched a poster design competition, inviting artists, designers, students and creative individuals from ITTO member countries to illustrate through digital or hand-drawn artwork how tropical forests, wood and non-timber forest products enrich our daily lives and contribute to environmental and socio-economic development.
