New York City, 27 May 2026 —The twenty-first session of the United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF21) brought governments, international organizations, major groups and leaders together to strengthen implementation of the UN Strategic Plan for Forests 2030 and accelerate progress toward the Global Forest Goals. As the UN’s principal forest policy platform, UNFF continues to contribute to international cooperation on forests, biodiversity, climate and sustainable development in close collaboration with the Collaborative Partnership on Forests and others.
