第45回国際熱帯木材理事会

2009年11月、第45回国際熱帯木材理事会会合において、22名の新規フェローシップ授与者が決定しました。今回の授与者は16の国々から選ばれ、うち7名が女性です。

国際熱帯木材機関(ITTO)は、フリーザイラーフェローシップ基金を通し、同機関加盟国における熱帯林及び関連する専門分野における人材開発の促進と、専門的知識の強化を行っています。目標は、熱帯林の持続可能な管理、及び熱帯木材の効率的使用と商品化を促進し、さらに、熱帯木材の国際的取引に関する更に充実した産業情報を広めることです。
