
Revised ITTO guidelines for the sustainable management of natural tropical forests available for member comments
As agreed by the Committee on Reforestation and Forest Management at its Forty-fifth Session and endorsed by the International Tropical Timber Council at its Forty-seventh Session, held in La Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala from 14 to 19 November 2011, ITTO member countries are hereby invited to provide further comments and inputs to the draft “Revised ITTO Guidelines for the Sustainable Management of Natural Tropical Forests”, no later than 31 March 2012. The Secretariat will subsequently produce a final draft of the revised ITTO Guidelines for the approval of the Council at its Forty-eighth Session, scheduled to be held in Yokohama, Japan, from 5 to 10 November 2012.
